This is an easy game you can make at home and have hours of fun with your kids. This game helps to teach kids, colors, alphabets and numbers in a fun way.

square cardboard box
colored sheets in A4 size
Marker

Instructions
Making the dice
- Cut all the A4 sheets into half
- Tape the card board box so that it won’t open up
- Cover the cardboard box with color card stock on all sides. Use one color on each side.
- Write numbers from 1 to 6 on each side.
Making the game board
- Cut all the A4 sheets into half
- Take two A4 sheets of different color and tape along the short edge.
- Now, take another color and tape it.
- Continue until you tape 8 sheets.
- Make another chain of 8 sheets, just like you did the previous one
- Now, make two chains of 5 sheets in a similar way.
- Write the alphabets from A-Z one on each sheet. Fill in the 8 sheet chain first. Continue writing on the 5 sheet chain, followed by the 8 sheet chain and finally the 5 sheet chain.
- Flip over and write numbers in order
- Join the chains together to form a rectangle
How to play: Color recognition
Roll the dice. Your kid needs to move to the color that shows up on the dice
How to play: Alphabet recognition
Roll the dice. Your kid needs to move to the color that shows up on the dice. Ask your kid to read out the alphabets as they walk to the color.
How to play: Number recognition
Flip the game board to the side where you have written the numbers. Roll the dice. Your kid needs to walk as many steps as indicated in the dice.
For older kids, you can ask them to add the numbers as they walk.
